the merits of chocolate.

I mean, chocolate does have merits, right? Like it is delicious. It has caffeine. Some varieties have flavanoids, those little things that sound like they are super good for you. I actually used to be kind of obsessed with chocolate. As in, I probably had some form of chocolate every day…hot chocolate or chocolate frozen yogurt or chocolate chips or healthy brownies, something. I think I’ve kind of lost my appetite for it though…or maybe there are just other things that appeal more-like pumpkin:)

But if you are in need of a quick chocolate fix, one that is as healthy as it is easy and delicious, try this:

1/2 cup fiber one, ground in the food processor

1/2 cup plain yogurt

splash of milk

2 tablespoons cocoa powder

teaspoon of vanilla

tablespoon of Splenda (or sugar, or honey)

Grind the fiber one until it is mostly, but not completely ground. Whip in the yogurt, cocoa, vanilla, and Splenda. If it needs a little thinning out, add the milk. Refrigerate for 20 minutes. Enjoy!
