Chac-Tom.

As of yesterday, I am a Chaco person. That is the sub-group I can now officially claim. Well, not entirely. I am both a Chaco person and a TOMS person; a hybrid if you will. Don’t be mistaken-I am not saying Choctaw, like the Indian tribe. I am not an Indian. I’m strictly talking about shoes here. I got them yesterday and I really love them already. I wore them right out of the store and into 7 hours on my feet at work. And it was a good choice. Here we are, my brother and I, 2 little granolas in our Chacos. He tried to convince me to lay out with them on so as to work on my Chaco tan, but I opted not to that. We did take a long walk last night that helped to further get my feet used to them.

And in food…my new favorite thing is to mix some plain yogurt with salsa and put it on top of whatever protein for a little Mexican inspired meal. Chicken, veggie burger, salmon-it is good on them all, especially with a little fresh cilantro and goat cheese.
